Fucksticks. I've been telling everyone round here that Bama would simply man the Tigers off the field, and it appears that, for once, I was not incorrect. It's 24-7 at the half.

I was looking forward to seeing the SEC whip another national title pretender, but now it looks like a pretty stacked deck for Oregon. There's no way big daddy BCS is gonna be able to resist the mid-major contenders this time.

It was a nice four-national-title run while it lasted. Damn.

Actually, if we cannot be in the game, I want the BCS as fucked up as possible. I WANT the TCU/Boise State game because everyone will be pissed off at this game. Maybe it might lead to the scrapping of the BCS.

Keep in mind too that if Auburn loses and still wins the SEC, they are likely favorites to go to the Title game. We won with one loss in 2006 and 2008.

This game is getting awesome at 24-21. I would be very happy to be wrong again.

I disagree, Slidey, about a one-loss Auburn team going. I think the coaches still keep Boise and TCU down, but the writers will happily put one of the two at #2. I think the world has kind of had it with the SEC being dominant and bragging about it. All my western FB friends are all, GO BAMA. Much the country wants a new deal.

This is exactly what my husband said.

That was EXCELLENT. I'm cheering SEC all the way. Hope Newton's not too badly banged up.

OMG, I hadn't checked the score until I read this. That will shut those miserable whiners up.

Now can Auburn manage one more win against USC? It took a comeback win at home to beat them earlier this year. I still think auburn is owed one after their undefeated season a number of years back.

While I'm a little concerned about whatever Cam Newton's dad did, I still hope he wins the Heisman...how cool to have two of UF's QB's win them within a few years of each other...even though he had to leave UF to get it. Anyway, glad to see him doing well.
