Nebraska to the Big 10

Yup folks, conference re-alignments may have just begun. Word is that the PAC-10 is going to RAPE the rest of the Big 12 of Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State. Lets see what the SEC does, if anything.

So would the Big 12 just disband or would they be taking on former Pac10 teams that were cast off?

From what I've been reading the Big12 would be no longer. I agree that it is insanity.

Colorado has already left the Big 12 for the Pac 10.

I never understood this...doesn't the P in PAC stand for Pacific? How is Colorado on the Pacific?...and even moreso, Texas? WTF? If they are going to rearrange the conferences then they should change the names too, IMO.

Let me tell you, living in Austin, everyone here has their collective panties in a twist over this one. A&M will have to go where Texas goes, and Baylor is worried about being left out of the mix.

So how will this affect the BCS?

I think that is what it's going to be moving towards Doc. That way we will have kind of a play off system as long as each conference has a title game. I'm afraid these screwballs are going to fuck up college athletics.

Texas is staying in the Big 12...err...10. Lets see if Texas A&M stays or not. I'm guessing they do.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. VT would get us into the DC Metro market. That would be the sole reason.
