If I did something you thought I shouldn't do...would you put a gun to my head?

Say, if I was sitting on my front porch smoking a joint and you didn't think I should smoke it, would you put a gun to my head and force me to stop? If you wanted to pay for a war but I didn't, would you put a gun to my head to force me to help you pay for it? If you wanted to help out a poor family by giving them food or money but I refused, would you put a gun to my head and force me to help them out?

If you wouldn't put the gun to my head yourself, why do you let the government put the gun to my head FOR you?

But of course. If I put the gun to your head I'm charged with a crime. If I sit back and let the gov't do it then it's all legal.

It will kidnap you at gunpoint, that's for sure. The gun may be implicit, but it is certainly there and ready to be used on you if necessary.
