Unless Colt's arm is falling off, he should be out there IMO.

agreed...and i don't think colt is being a pussy either...i just think they're protecting draft dollars...which is a damn shame.

And it's ironic that McCoy won the player of the year vote that ESPN was doing. ???

LOL...those longhorns aren't the brightest bunch...onside kick and two Texas players are trying to say it's theirs and they are both pointing in opposite directions. Duh, which way do we go?

Another funny one from Tex on FB...I can't steal this one too, but I'm thinking about it.

So, I'm figuring we've got about 9 months until a wave of Saban-related names start showing up on Alabama birth certificates. Saban Bob Beauford. Saban Bear Smith. Nicky-Paul Saban Johnson.

Wow. Take away that shovel pass and this is a very different ball game right now.

Bama needs to right their ship or it may sink on them.

Oh, no, Bama, you do NOT want to settle for a field goal here. You want to punch this in for six right here, right now.

Good job Bama...Colt, hope your dad can sleep at night keeping you out of the game if you could have really played. Glad I'm not a Texas fan...this would have killed me.

I left after the 3rd so I didn't see the rest of the meltdown. But from the email traffic I've rec'd, all my texas friends have thrown colt under the bus. Calling him selfish, heartless, etc...looked to me like he wanted to play but they're all being super-critical of colt right now

As for the final, they're happy to have competed with a true freshman who had no reps, they're happy to have scored more points than UF, and they're happy to have been beaten by less points than UF got beaten by....all this with a true freshman who had had no reps to this point

They're all throwing williams (the WR) under the bus, they're throwing greg davis (OC) under the bus, and ultimately mack brown.

Super-super critical of the shovel pass, super critical of a porous defense and super- critical of the playcalling

They're all very excited about the freshman qb (I have no reason WHY but they are)...they're pumped about competing and not laying a stinker despite their injury.

Lets just say that it is a very interesting day to live in Austin Texas. There is a bit of a pall in the community right now. There were very few UT fans in the gym this morning.....

What is Alabama going to look like next year? Do they have a lot of people returning?

Do we play them in Tuscaloosa (sp?)? You are right - their QB isn't the greatest.

I did overhear the announcers say some thing like they should be the Preseason #1 due to all of the players that are coming back.

7 of their 11 defensive starters are SR's
3 starters on offense are SR's

Does Ingram come back?

They might take us. We're a big fat question mark for next year.

Rad, any evidence out there that McCoy could or couldn't go? I just read an article that said he couldn't make seven-yard throws. Here it is:

I heard that buzz last night that Daddy was protecting the NFL contract. I'm skeptical of that.

In his interview after the game he said his arm went dead, couldn't feel it at all, no pain, just dead.
