SEC Title game week!

Everything turned to shit. We did almost nothing right except punting. Chas Henry was the Gator of the game in my book.

Yea we got dominated. I can't even stomach watching other college football games right now.

I might not watch the bowl game; we'll see. I'm not 'fairweather', but my spirit has been destroyed for the moment.

I gotta second that.....FUCK. This loss is gonna stick with me for a while...probably in my top 5 worst losses considering all that was on the line.

Yeah, it has to go down as one of the worst losses. Close losses break your heart. But flat games -- there's nothing to do today but say that Bama thrashed us fair and square. I think if these two teams got off the bus at that dome for 10 consecutive Saturdays, we'd still win more than we'd lose. McElroy was on fire; we tackled miserably; Tebow seemed like he was thick on cough syrup.

That said, in college football you play once, and Bama stole our lunch money and pushed us down in the mud. End of story.

i noticed that tebow's eyes looked lost and his face looked pale and very white...dunno...he just was not sharp at all...his throws were more wobbly than normal...his feet were happy...that arenas interception was the dagger and was a big tebow mistake obviously as hernandez was wide open in the deep corner...

poor coaching overall as deonte was caught watching the play AGAIN dropping a tipped ball...coaching would have kids play to the whistle...cooper missed a block downfield on the same type of issue...i'm assuming he thought the play was over or anticipated it being over and was caught in a jog instead of a block...

i don't really know if the 3-3-5 was the best for us...it was obvious after their first possession.

feel bad for our dbacks...they were getting trucked over all night long...will hill, ahmad, jenkins, haden...they all got trucked the whole night long...they've got to be the sorest bunch this morning.

i thought our o-line did good...really did...we've talked about tebow's pocket presence (or lack of) in the past...definitely was his downfall yesterday.

i don't know why - but our offensive staff got spooked by bama scoring quick on us...we abandoned the run as a result...why? panic perhaps? i have no clue as to why we were passing on like every down.

i think our defense got gashed no doubt...but i also think our boys were in position on most plays but just didn't make the tackles...i also think that coach strong was too aggressive at times blitzing but it's tough to be overly critical about that since that aggressiveness got us to where we were to begin with...we got burned on the overaggressiveness on ingrams 2nd td and ingrams long screen pass blitzing off the edge.

chas henry is the tebow of the punting world

brandon james' absence had more of an affect on us than dunlaps' did.

sturgis was solid

hicks and stamper and spikes and doe played w/immense heart.

where was moody again??? i know moody's not the answer but WE NEED a between the tackles rb in the mold of an ingram or a richardson or a benjarvus green-ellis or a derrick locke etc to help gain the 3-4-5 yards needed to keep a drive going.

You are more generous than I am. I think we stunk up the field on every level of the game except punting. And when your punter is the best player, that is not good.

Didn't sleep much last night as I was so pissed off.

Everyone looked like they were coming down with the flu.

I go back to that first Florida drive. Tebow wings the screen to Demps, who has the sideline -- and drops it. Maybe it's crazy talk, but how much better are the Gators yesterday if Demps catches the pass and they score, even three, on that drive?

^^^Toothy, I totally agree with that last part.

Bill is convinced we will play Cincy in the Sugar Bowl and get beat. He figures half the guys won't be able to play because they'll be in touch with their agents and the others are not going to have the motivation to really do anything...sort of like what happened to Bama last year when they played Utah.

Also, he is more open to the idea that Meyer may go to Notre Dame. He's still on the fence as to whether it would happen but he now thinks it could happen. If we had won he wouldn't think it would at all.

I dunno...I just feel bad. But watching Texas last night against a team that had ZERO offense...I mean nothin...I think Bama will slaughter Texas! And I hope they do...I am not happy with the loss but Bama is still in the SEC and they just aren't one of our hated rivals as much as UGA or Tenn, so meh...I hope they win it all.

But I hope Bill is wrong about our bowl game...we really need to save face after that horrible performance. I thought the same thing as Addie when she said it looked like we had money on Bama to win. I gave up after our first possession after the second half and turned on the episode of Monk I taped. It was great.

I hate to say it, but whatever bowl game we end up in, I think we will play flat. Losing yesterday was a huge disappointment for a team expected to win it all again. I just don't see us getting motivated for any other game.

If we couldn't get motivated yesterday, nothing will get us motivated. Hell, I'm not even motivated to watch.
