first rushing td just now...all out blitz on 3rd and 10 on the tennessee 20ish yard line, he avoided the collapsing pocket, ran to his left, tucked in and started sprinting to the endzone....sanchez was met by a safety at the goal line...instead of running out of bounds or sliding, he put his head down and absorbed the hit AND got the TD...unbelievable!

Redskins wanted him bad.

I have been saying all along that Jason Campbell was no better than the sixth best QB in the SEC that year -- he had Ronnie and Cadillac making him look good. Why they drafted him in the first when they probably could have had him in the third, I have no idea.

Speaking of Redskins!

Detroit Lions, they of the 19-game losing streak, 10, Redskins 0 in the second. Big fat Albert Haynesworth, he of the $100 million contract, hurt recording a sack on Stafford and carted off (did the cart have an "extra wide load" banner?).

Because I am a Bears fan and I follow the Skins only for the drama, I want to see this MFer get totally out of hand. I'm hoping for something like Detroit 38, Washington 3. I want total humiliation.

Well they're off the winless wagon. God I hate the skins. Glad to see them be the team that Detroit ends the streak with. Can't wait to get to the office and start talking shit to all their fans.

Bill and I did this FB quiz "which Florida Gator athlete are you". I got Tim Tebow, but he got Percy Harvin (I'm guessing because he said he wants to "make millions" rather than "make a difference"). Anyway, when he posted it on his wall he started it with "I have a sick first step". Made me laugh.

i agree w/edwards probably not being too much of a factor on this team...they are a run-first type offense...shonne green (iowa) got his first carries of the year last week and he looked good between the tackles...leon washington is the 3rd down back and thomas jones is the primary...

I think Edwards will help, assuming that the coach gets him on the right track more or less immediately and keeps him from becoming a diva. Edwards is a threat. Whether he catches a ball or not, he will exert a gravitational pull on the defense that should open up run space a few times a game.
