At the end of last season, most Florida State fans would have gladly taken the 19th spot in the final Associated Press poll. And that likely goes for Seminole coaches and players.
But not now. Not this fall. Despite a scrimmage full of questions for the offense on Saturday night, FSU is at nothing more than a good starting point at 19th in The Associated Press' preseason poll. A return to the ACC championship game and a BCS bowl game are realistic goals if a national title run is not.
