Actually, I get stuff from Newsmax all the time, so I assumed it was conservative based on sites I've looked at and/or belong to. Personally, I don't think Fox News is that conservative, they just have more conservative analysts than the other networks...but for straight news, I don't think they are more conservative or liberal than anyone else...maybe they give more right-sided views than the more liberal news networks, but they have liberals on there too giving their views with equal time...again, I'm only talking about the straight news stories.
I always laugh when liberals point at Bill O'Reilly as some voice of conservatives...conservatives for the most part hate him...he is neither conservative or liberal...he just hates liars and cheats and likes calling them out. Most people (like myself) find him just a little too full of himself and annoying to watch.
